To assist community members from CALD backgrounds to become functionally literate in Australian English and to assist in some in breaking down the barriers between them and the general population.
Staffing and volunteers
1 part time permanent staff (guaranteed by Council); 2 casual staff (positions not guaranteed by Council – only funded if enough grant monies available), 2 contract teachers, 3 volunteer TESOL trained teachers; 50+ volunteer tutors.

Project began as a response to a demonstrated need within the community. Continual requests for assistance from the public and an increasing multicultural population.
