The Centre integrates digital media and oral history to open up new nonlinear ways to access, analyse and communicate life stories. Activities include working groups from diverse backgrounds including Rwanda, Haiti and Cambodia.

Hear Her Voice presents the stories of 4 women in the migration process. It looks at their dreams, aspirations, family ties, disappointments and achievements, while capturing some of the diversity of cultural background, patterns of immigration and experiences of settling.

Fairfield City Library
The library has been proactive in collecting the Oral Histories of its residents and has now achieved over 130 recordings, from people of various backgrounds including, Assyrian, Lao, Polish, Spanish and Vietnamese.Digitising and making this collection available online serves the high demand of interest generated in the local community, as well as extending access to the rest of Australia and overseas so that it serves as a model of a successful multicultural community.
